ITQ Funding in Wales

The Assembly has outlined its commitment to the ITQ and Passport as one of the 6 priorities for change within the 2006-2009 National Learning and Skills Assessment as below:
Priority Four: Working with E-skills, the Welsh Assembly Government will seek to re-align the funding of IT user provision to the ITQ and those qualifications that contribute to the ITQ. The Welsh Assembly Government will also seek to ensure that all learners are able to complete the e-skills passport prior to undertaking an IT user qualification.

The Step Up Sector programme can assist employers and their employees with funding for IT User training.

The Welsh Assembly Government can provide general advice and information on funding for ITQ.
