ITQ Contributing Qualifications Mapping Summary
ECDL (European Computer Driving License) - BCS
(Level 1 and 2 units) Version 4.0
It is important to note that there are currently two syllabus versions of ECDL that can contribute towards ITQ.
ECDL Version 4.5
ECDL Syllabus V4.5 does map fully to NOS content and is listed separately.
ECDL Version 4
Syllabus V4 does not map fully to the NOS content for the Operate a Computer and Email units and will therefore require additional evidence that MUST be demonstrated. Please refer to the BCS Gap Evidence Guide September 2007 (pdf file - 114 kb) which sets out the additional skills and evidence requirements for candidates using ECDL V4 modules for APA.
The following table shows how the contributing qualification maps against the ITQ qualification.
There are varying levels of content and assessment coverage. Click on the Unit names to view the detailed mapping documents.
